Ad policy
How ads on CV 360 are chosen, checked and shown. It applies to every paid placement.
Every ad is reviewed
A person checks each ad before it runs: the image, the headline, the text and the page it links to. That includes every new version an advertiser builds. Nothing goes live on its own, and every ad is labelled “Promoted”.
What we don't accept
- Misleading claims, scams, or links that don't go where the ad says they do.
- Anything illegal, unsafe, or unsuitable for a sports audience that includes juniors.
- Hateful, violent, sexual or shocking content.
- Ads that pretend to be a post, a message or a notice from CV 360 or from someone else.
We may decline or stop any ad that doesn't fit these rules, and we'll tell the advertiser why.
Reporting an ad
Every promoted card has a ⋮ menu with “Report this ad”. Reports go to our team. When 3 different people report the same ad, it is paused automatically until someone has looked at it. One person reporting several times counts once.
Who sees an ad
An advertiser can narrow their ad to:
- signed-in players only;
- phones or desktops;
- players whose club is within a set distance of a chosen club;
- a DUPR rating range.
That is all we use. We don't locate you from your IP address, and we don't use your browsing history. If we don't know something about you — for example your club or rating — an ad aimed at it simply isn't shown to you.
An advertiser can also cap how many times one person sees their ad in a day.
What advertisers see
Advertisers get totals: how many times their ad was seen and clicked, day by day. They never see who saw or clicked it.
Links to other sites carry a utm_source=cv360 tag so the advertiser can count the visits we sent.
